Internal Rift in AAP as Leadership Rebukes Raghav Chadha’s Stance

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is facing an internal rift following the removal of Raghav Chadha from his Rajya Sabha leadership position. In a video message soon after the decision, Chadha declared that he may be “silenced,” but he remained undeterred in his mission to voice public concerns and hold authorities accountable.

Chadha conveyed confidence that stepping back from an official role would not diminish his commitment to raising issues for ordinary people. He described his situation as a challenge that strengthens his resolve rather than weakens it.

Contrarily, top AAP leaders criticized his approach, suggesting that Chadha has refrained from forcefully opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on several critical fronts. Leadership insiders claimed that Parliament deserves debate on pressing national issues, and representatives must boldly confront the government on key policy matters.

The dispute has sparked debate about internal party dynamics and the expectations of leadership roles in opposition politics. Observers believe this episode may shape future strategies within the party as it continues to navigate its role on the national stage.
